What is AILET?
The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Law University, Delhi, for admission into its law programs, including BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD.
Purpose: To provide admission to NLU Delhi, which does not participate in CLAT.
Conducting Body: National Law University (NLU), Delhi.
Eligibility: Candidates who have completed 10+2 or are appearing in the final year can apply for the BA LLB program. LLM applicants must hold an LLB degree.
Exam Structure and Syllabus
Format: Offline, pen-and-paper-based, multiple-choice questions.
Subjects for BA LLB: English Language, Current Affairs & General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning.
Subjects for LLM: Different legal sections, including Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and more.
Scoring: Includes negative marking for wrong answers.
